Batal rights issue, saham MTDL rontok

JAKARTA. Saham PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (MTDL) pagi ini memerah. Pada pukul 10.06, saham MTDL merosot 3% menjadi Rp 126. 

Investor memandang negatif pembatalan rencana penambahan modal dengan hak memesan efek terlebih dahulu (HMETD) atau right issue MTDL. Dalam keterbukaan informasi perseroan yang disampaikan kepada Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI), Senin (11/6) menyebutkan, alasan pembatalan tersebut adalah situasi dan kondisi perekonomian global yang memburuk disertai gejolak mata uang dunia.

Menurut Kepala Riset eTrading Securities Betrand Reynaldi, batalnya rencana right issue MTDL bukanlah hal yang positif. "Batalnya rencana right issue tersebut dapat diartikan sebagai batalnya tambahan modal MTDL sekitar Rp 150 miliar yang akan digunakan untuk modal kerja perusahaan," jelasnya.
